Self-mastery – Mastering the Present: Embracing Peace, Power, and Freedom

Your future depends on the choices you are making right now! Choose to relax, choose to be peaceful, choose to be powerful.

Relax – move your wrists in a circular motion, move your ankles in a circular motion (3 times – clockwise & anticlockwise); now move your right arm forward and back in a circular way (clockwise), simultaneously, move your left arm forward and back in a circular way (anticlockwise), do this a few times…you feel relaxed and become fully aware of the present!

Breathe slowly and deeply…

Shift awareness to your mind…watch your thoughts…they keep coming, simply observe them coming and soon they will go…don’t judge them or analyze them….
let go…very easily and gently…. let go

Soon you slip into a calm and peaceful state…. stay there for a few moments….as a master, your wise choices lead you to powerful states.

Having a taste of mastery, take note of the following:
The more you hold on to a thought…
the more you depend on them for your feelings…you get ‘conditioned’.

I feel peaceful when I ‘think’ that I just completed an important project.

I feel happy because I have ‘achieved’ one of my short-term goals.

Extending this case, I would feel stressed when I have ‘plenty of things’ to do or responsibilities to complete.

I feel unhappy until I ‘achieve’ my goal(s).

When I learn to let go of my thoughts, I experience peace, happiness and other beautifully positive feelings. In other words, when I silence my mind from ‘external’ conditions, I begin to taste my true and original nature of peace and power. As a master, I enjoy real freedom and feel a sense of super-sensuous joy.

I do not NEED validation (even from the self) to feel great.

I am truly a master.
